Ship Registry Expands List of Qualifying Owners

The Isle of Man Ship Registry has broadened its global reach with the addition of over 50 new countries to its list of Qualifying Owners. This expansion includes all current Commonwealth members, as well as a selection of other nations identified as key markets for future growth.

Cameron Mitchell, Director of the Isle of Man Ship Registry, hailed the move as important progress in the registry’s ongoing development:

“This is another positive step forward in the growth of our register, allowing us to extend our global reach into new and untapped markets," Mitchell said. "We are committed to providing a world-class service and ensuring the Isle of Man remains an attractive choice for shipowners worldwide, whilst always upholding the highest standards of quality."
