𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝘀 – 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝘆!

The Ship Registry is consulting on updates to its fee regulations, set to take effect from 1 April 2025, subject to Tynwald approval. Key proposals for 2025/26 include:

1️⃣ A 5% inflationary increase to existing fees (rounded appropriately).
2️⃣ Adding carbon capture systems to the technologies eligible for the 15% green discount
3️⃣ Increasing and streamlining fees for new build/major conversion commercial yachts
4️⃣ Introducing new fees for:
- Seafarer discharge books
- Type rating certificates for high-speed craft
- Approval of electronic official logbooks
5️⃣ Refining fees for fishing vessel surveys conducted outside of the Isle of Man, UK, RoI or CI regions
6️⃣ Minor clarifications and updates to align the including updating the interpretation section, the EEDI Table in Schedule 1 and removing Schedule 2 (Map)
