A pleasure yacht is not required to comply with any commercial regulations and is not subject to survey by Isle of Man Ship Registry Surveyors. However it should be noted that there will be other survey requirements (e.g. MARPOL surveys). See the Survey page for more information.
If a pleasure yacht owner wishes to voluntarily comply with any commercial regulations (e.g.
MLC, ISM or ISPS), then the Ship Registry can assist with this. Please contact us to discuss
your requirements.
The annual registration fee is payable which depends upon the length of the vessel. Click here to calculate your annual fee. There are no survey fees charged by the Ship Registry, unless voluntarily compliance is chosen.
