The Red Ensign Group's MLC Tri-partite working group is currently running a survey intended to gain the views of yacht crew on crew accommodation. In particular, they are asking preferences on the following issues:
- Sharing cabins in general
- Shared cabins with en-suite facilities; and
- Single occupancy cabins with a shared separate toilet block
The MLC Tri-partite working group is often asked to approve accommodation arrangements which differ from MLC standard arrangements. If granted, these are permitted under the 'substantial equivalence' provisions of MLC. This survey will allow your voice to be heard when considering future equivalent arrangements.
